The Retail section consists of more than 640 Barnardo's shops across the UK. These high-street stores are reliant on donations from the public and corporate supporters, and generate funds from the sale of these donated items. The successful applicant will assist in the fulfilment of the Trading Teams financial and operational objectives by managing the incoming and outgoing stock, picking & packing orders and ensuring all stock is prepared ready for distribution in a timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Picking & Packing Stock
- Safe manual handling and movement of stock and orders
- Selecting the right packaging type to dispatch items
- Undertake correct training to use the pallet stacker and moving equipment.
- Administration and Security
- Stocktaking
- Health and Safety including contributing to high standards of cleanliness and

housekeeping- Working to deadlines
- Unloading and Loading vehicles
