Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of their client at Port Talbot Steelworks for a Scrap Inspector on a temporary to permanent contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well - known Steelworks subcontractor with a wealth of experience in environmental services & scrap recycling.
Duties & responsibilities for this position include:
- Identifying the difference between ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal, wood, and plastic.
- Grade and assess the scrap being delivered - identify dirt and non-conductive material.
- Complete reports relating to scrap delivered and stock checks.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 10 hours a day (OT 1.5 payable after 8 hours), with 30 days annual leave. Salary expectations are £32,500 per annum and additional quarterly bonus
