The school is an independent, specialised day school offering high-quality education to students in Key Stages 1, 2, and 3. This school meets the needs of pupils with a primary diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder and additional needs such as ADHD, speech and language difficulties, sensory issues and associated behavioural difficulties.

This role will require you to establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with pupils in order to support them feeling safe and enabling them to enjoy and learn during their time at the School. Applicants for this post must be dynamic, resilient and flexible in their approach to learning. This is a full time role and applicants must be available Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:30pm.

- Support learners individually, in small groups, and in whole-class settings.
- Create a warm, caring, and supportive environment for students, fostering a sense of safety and enjoyment in their learning journey.
- Contribute to delivering high-quality, challenging, and tailored educational activities that align with a diverse and comprehensive curriculum.
- Aim to help pupils reach their full potential across all areas of learning.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant childcare experience (voluntary or paid) (Must be able to provide references)
- Experience working or volunteering with SEN (desirable)
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
- Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
