Domestic Assistant

Rangeford villages develops & operates retirement villages for people aged over 60. Mickle Hill is located in the lively and picturesque market town of Pickering. It aims to create an exciting, innovative and contemporary community for residents to live life to the full, with a wide range of leisure activities, services, support and care.

You will be joining a friendly & professional team who are passionate about delivering incredible hospitality and support our vision to enable our residents to live their lives independently and with purpose & fulfillment.

**Salary**:£10.60 per hour

**Shift Pattern: 20 hours per week**, Wednesday - Saturday

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a cleaner
- A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent personal presentation standards
- Ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team
- Fluent in English both verbally and written

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, offices and communal areas
- Support residents to maintain their homes to their own standards
- Document cleaning monitoring sheets
- Report faulty equipment, defects or hazards in the village to the village manager

It is a condition of employment that the post holder has a basic DBS check. Which will be paid for by us.
