Butcher

Underwood Meat Company, specialists in the production of fresh meat products, are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Butchers to work alongside an established team.

The successful individual will be an experienced Butchers, and have experience of working within a fast-paced meat production environment.

An ability to follow management instructions and work within a team is essential.

Main responsibilities include preparing fresh raw meat products efficiently to both customer and company requirements, package complete orders to customer specifications, ensure compliance with detection procedures and maintain stock rotation in finished goods areas. Ensure the company fulfils customer requirements in a timely manner.

The Butcher will also have a responsibility to keep their work area clean and tidy, at all times, and dispose of waste in the appropriate manner.
