First Aid and Administration Officer

Chairo Christian School is a growing non-denominational Christian school with 1,700 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ-centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.

We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated **First Aid & Student Administration Officer** to work at our Pakenham campus, commencing in Term 1 next year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and assist with all aspects of student reception, as well as providing support for a range of general office administration tasks, throughout the week.

Some key responsibilities will include the following:

- Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle
- Providing emergency first aid to students as required
- Providing support to the school community through the smooth running of the sickbay
- Ensuring a safe and positive environment so that students can feel they are cared for
- Dealing with parent, student and medical / first aid queries and requests
- Ensuring all first aid and medical requirements are met for camps and excursions
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Qualifications and/or experience as a First Aid Officer
- Excellent people skills, and a professional and friendly demeanour
- A high standard of computer literacy including MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to provide a satisfactory Working with Children Check
