Quality & Environmental Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company which is a leader in its market and has very ambitious growth plans.

We are seeking a creative individual with strong communication and problem solving skills, they will hold a degree (or similar level of qualification) in environmental science, quality manager or a related field. It is essential the individual has a good working knowledge of Sharepoint and PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities:

- To support the Quality and Sustainability Manager to implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard and BSL strategy.
- To support to the Quality and Sustainability Manager to ensure that the processes needed for the quality and environmental management systems are established, implemented, and maintained.
- To analyse quality and environmental data, and to generate reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- To work with function/process owners to close gaps and improve efficiency.
- To conduct regular internal Quality and Environmental inspections/audits to ensure compliance with company policies and processes, and to identify areas for improvement.
- To deliver Quality and Environmental initiatives/training, supporting the business where needed.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Environmental and/or Quality Practitioner professional certificate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in process mapping.
- Proficient in the use of SharePoint and Power Bi.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in working in a Quality Assurance or Environmental Advisory role, preferably within the Construction Industry.
