Assistant Ecologist

As we head into Spring, we are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Assistant Ecologist to join our talented friendly team of Ecologists. We offer a competitive salary and will give you great training and support, as well as the opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience in Ecology Field. Core Duties are to:

- Conduct field surveys and collect data and follow up with Reports on the findings
- Complete desk studies, literature reviews and data analyses where required
- Undertake extended Preliminary Ecological Assessment
- Work across our multi-disciplinary teams, as and when requested, to deliver proposals, surveys, reports and plans
- Undertaking Biodiversity Net Gain assessments

We would love to hear from you if you have:

- BSc or equivalent qualification in Ecology, Biological Sciences or similar
- Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience in a similar or complimentary environment
- A Protected Species license is preferred - but we will help you to get them
- Strong report writing skills
- Able and willing to work away from home overnight, as and when needed
- Full Driving Licence
- Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to engage well with clients and colleagues alike

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
