Nursery Assistant

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Visitors to our Leckford Estate come to us for various reasons, one of these being the beautiful and well-stocked plant nursery selling a wide range of plants specialising in shrubs, climbers, perennials and aquatics. Along with excellent plants on offer, our customers enjoy talking to our friendly Partners who offer excellent customer service as our Waitrose & Partners customers expect.

As a Nursery Assistant, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service through efficient and friendly sales on the till, maintaining the displays to highlight the products on offer and when needed watering the plants available.

**Job Requirements**:
You'll be directly interacting with the customers and other Partners at the Nursery so a passion for great customer service and the ability to work together as a team is essential.

An interest in plants is also beneficial as customers may ask you basic questions and advice, however full training will be given.

**Required essential experience skills and qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service
- Team player
- Understanding of retail operations

**Desirable experience skills and qualifications**:

- Previous garden centre/nursery experience
