**Early Years Teacher - Mill Hill**

**Salary**:Up to £32,260 per annum (dependent on qualifications, and experience)**

**Full Time - Up to 40 hours per week**

**Flexible shifts between 8:00-18:00 Monday-Friday. 50 weeks per year (Not term time)**

**The Job Role**:
My client is an award-winning Nursery and is currently recruiting for an **Early Years Teacher**. There is also an additional opening for a Room Leader at the Mill Hill branch.

In addition to the nursery managerial roles, the client has exciting part time and full-time opportunities to work with children aged 6 months to 4 years in their impressive state of the art Mill Hill setting. Their beautiful classrooms are fully self-containedwith a built-in nappy changing/toileting area, eating area, free-flow outdoor garden and includes state of the art technology for both the practitioners and children to use.

**Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:
The exciting job opportunity as an Early Years Teacher offered at the Mill Hill Branch.
- You will be working alongside the Preschool Room leader in a classroom of up to 32 children.
- Working on a 1:8 ratio.
- You will be responsible for planning the teaching element of the room effectively and efficiently to ensure children are making outstanding progress.
- Role modelling a variation of teaching styles to influence and coach staff’s understanding of teaching in the early years.
- You will have weekly planning and teacher time out of the classroom, in addition to receiving regular support from the group's Head of Teaching.

**To be considered for this role you must have**:

- Hold a **QT, EYITT, YET equivalent**:

- Hold Maths, English and Science GSCE A-C equivalent
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of early years legislation
- Experience of Leading in an early years’ environment
- Experience of using Development Matters to plan and assess children
- An understanding of synthetic phonics and early reading
- Experience in managing a key group of children
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Confident to articulate information clearly and concisely to individuals at all levels
- Confidence when leading a team
- Empathetic, caring, and friendly
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude.
- Committed to providing excellent care and education
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
