We are looking for a self-confident, enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our fast-growing Interior Design company based in Greenwich London. We supply a full range of furniture and appliances to London’s property market. This is an exciting opportunity for a practical minded person who is looking for a new challenge and fantastic career opportunity.
**Salary**: Between £22,000 and £30,000 according to skills and experience and after successful completion of a probationary period (three months).
Our daily duties will involve (but not limited to) the following:
- Loading and unloading, delivery, carry and install all types of our products, including sofas, wardrobes, tables & chairs, beds & mattresses etc.
- To be responsible for the vehicle and other equipment provided
- Assembly and installation of furniture in customers properties.
- Removal of old items on a 'like-for-like’ basis.
- Keeping a high standard of tidiness in our warehouse at all times. Being friendly and helpful with customers, colleagues and the management team.
- Resolving operational issues.
- Good customer service skills, well-presented, excellent people skills and having good written and spoken communication skills are all essential for this role.
- Clean, tidy and well organized.
- Being able to complete paperwork.
- Good team player. Able to work smoothly with driver porter and other members of the team.
- Team Leader/Player, responsible, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, problem solver, professional - good attitude.
- Assembly & installation experience. Electrical appliances installation experience would be an advantage.
- Availability to undertake overtime work to complete the daily run and flexibility is essential.
- Good knowledge of London and use of GPS. Good driving skills to avoid fines and parking penalties.
This offer is for a full time permanent position after successful completion of a probationary period and dependent on your skills and experience.
During the probationary period you will be offered £13 per hour on a zero hours contract but as soon as you successfully complete the probationary period you will be offered a full-time contract.
**Salary**: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
