We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Protection Assistant to work alongside our Data Protection Governance team and Data Protection Officer, providing support and assistance on several key privacy priorities and activities.

You will receive ongoing training throughout, from the teams within ARM, its Data Protection Officer, and external educators, to develop and enhance your current skills, learn new skills, and develop your privacy knowledge and experience through a broad range of tasks.

**Tasks**

Support the Data Protection Governance Team and Data Protection Officer with
- Data protection queries and activities from within ARM, its clients and suppliers
- Assist with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Assist with Data Processing Agreements
- Privacy and data protection due diligence across clients and suppliers
- Data Privacy Training and Guidance across all business functions
- Policy and Compliance Documentation and Implementation
- Tracking and communicating data privacy trends and events
- Partner with all key business areas to ensure data privacy issues are considered at the outset of new projects, products and initiatives
- Maintain and enhance GDPR documentation and the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA)
- Frequently meet with teams across the business to enhance their privacy processes & knowledge
- Assist with bi-weekly GDPR meetings and follow up on required actions

**Skill Required**
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of the DPA 2018, PECR, EU and UK GDPR and upcoming ePrivacy Regulation
- Fast, willing learner with demonstrable attention to detail
- Ability to work well in both a team and individually.
- Keen to develop and use initiative
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, to strict deadlines
- Strong process, documentation and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) skills
- Good communication skills, including the ability to liaise with people across the business
- Questioning nature to contribute to issue identification, investigation and resolution
- Ability to prioritise and manage own caseload
- A self-motivated, clear thinking, analytic, systematic and organised individual
