Credit Controller

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Controller to join their busy team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding customer payments, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. Your role will contribute to the financial stability and success of their organization.
**Duties**:
- Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate actions
- Negotiate payment plans or settlements with customers to resolve any payment issues
- Update customer records and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions
- Liaise with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Service to resolve discrepancies or disputes
- Conduct credit checks on potential customers and make recommendations based on findings
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
- Proficient in data entry and using accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with professional phone etiquette
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information
Once trained this role offers hybrid working of 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH. You will need to be in the office 4 days a week (work from home on a Friday whilst training)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
