Foundry Ladleman

Sterling Recruitment are delighted to be working with our fantastic client who are based in Newcastle.

Due to substantial growth our client are looking to add a Foundry Ladleman to their team on a permanent basis.

The role will consist of working a 3 shift rotation once fully trained.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Prepare all ladles required for casting
- Pour metal into moulds/furnaces as required
- Repair ladles as required
- Drive overhead crane
- Drive mini digger to KO ladles
- Ensure that a good standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times
- All tasks to be completed in the safest manner, adhering to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Experience of working within a Foundry is preferred but not essential
- Overhead crane driver Preferred but not essential
- Experience of hand and pneumatic tools preferred but not essential

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
