**Job overview**:
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Learning Management and Systems Administrator.

The new post holder will support the administration, management, configuration, and reporting of learning activities to meet local, regional and national agendas.

You will be an accomplished and self-motivated individual with excellent technical, and administration skills.

The new postholder will have a keen attention to detail, experience in various learning administration systems specifically ESR Learn.

Communication is key to this role as you will work closely with all teams in Learning and Development and have daily contact with our learners and stakeholders.

You will have the ability to work under your own initiative with mínimal supervision, working to tight and often changing deadlines to improve the educational and learning environment and outcomes for staff, partners and our patients.

This post can be based on any of the NCA sites. The post holder will be required to work and travel to all sites within the Northern Care Alliance.

**Main duties of the job**:
To provide and co-ordinate Learning Management System administration and maintenance on various learning platforms (ESR/Oracle Learning Management (OLM), Moodle, Totara) including integrating learning records across these platforms.

A main responsibility will be to co-ordinate and manage the queries received and provide helpdesk support for learners across the NCA. Manage the Learning help desk support for a variety of learning enquiries including supporting access and use of learning platform, ESR Self Service and resolving issues for staff regarding mandatory training compliance.

Ensure the quality and timeliness of updating and setting up staff competencies on ESR, course and class set-up, data entry and extraction of data to facilitate accurate reporting for key stakeholders internal and external to the organisation.

To work with the ESR team, the wider L&D, stakeholders and the Quality & Performance team to assist in the administration, co-ordination and delivery of implementing ESR Learn as the Learning platform across the NCA.

- Educated to Degree Level or equivalent qualifications or substantial NHS experience in administration of learning platforms

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Experience and knowledge of the administration of ESR and the Oracle Learner Management System on ESR.
- Relevant recent/clerical administrative experience of using ESR or Oracle Learner Management System on ESR - adding information, creating classes, adding on-line activities, learner/competency management
- Competent, conscientious and motivated with a methodical approach to work and excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills - ability to plan own workload, to prioritise and to work in a high volume environment.
- Customer focused, with a friendly and helpful attitude.
