**THE ROLE**
Our client is looking for a Cruise Consultant to join their team.

Key responsibilities:

- Exceed sales and service standards consistently.
- Identify and close sales opportunities via phone interactions.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with luxury cruise clientele.
- Ensure precise and complete booking details in adherence to department guidelines.
- Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products, articulating features, benefits, and pricing.
- Actively participate in team meetings and training for effective use of sales techniques and accurate information dissemination.
- Provide detailed information on copmany ships, destinations, itineraries, and policies.
- Achieve or surpass sales goals and conversion standards for global destinations and optional programs.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and pricing while making recommendations for promotions and additional products.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Address guest issues, overcome objections, and establish quality customer relationships.
- Meet or exceed customer booking and revenue goals, ensuring prompt follow-up within CRM guidelines.
- Maximise conversions by promptly responding to web requests and assigned leads.
- Assist guests in resolving minor problems related to bookings.
- Act on leads to identify travel needs, present company products, and make travel recommendations.
- Deliver a seamless cruise and customer service experience from the initial sales call to reservation confirmation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the booking process and sales.
- Adhere to policies and procedures regarding visa and vaccine requirements.
- Propose recommendations for process, procedure, and technology improvements.
- Maintain adherence to the assigned schedule and undertake sales projects as directed by management.

**THE PERSON**

Key experience, skills and qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years experience within Sales and Luxury Travel, degree qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience with a travel reservation system is advantageous.
- Previous telephone sales experience with luxury consumer products.
- Demonstrate a strong drive and high energy to surpass sales targets.
- Exhibit interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest experiences.
- Thrive in a multitasking, goal-oriented sales and service environment.
