**Our secure government customer has a rare and exciting opportunity for an accomplished DV Cleared Enterprise Architect to join their large team in the post South-West**

**Duration**: 9 months with potential for long term extension

**Day Rate**:Exceptional** Rate on offer **outside** of IR35

**Location**: 5 days per week onsite expected (may reduce to 4 following training).

**Interviews**: 1 stage video interview

**Start**: ASAP but will wait for notice periods

**The Opportunity**:
Our defence client is looking for an Enterprise Architect with Cloud Experience to engage on a long-term programme that will move from the organisation's on-premises Cloud offerings to Commercial Hyperscale Cloud Offerings.

The role will require you to own the Organisation's enterprise architecture vision, strategy and roadmaps from a business, technology and data perspective. Specific focus on the Zero Trust Approach being adopted is key. You will contribute to the following:

- A Cloud Readiness Assessment.
- A Cloud Migration Assessment.
- The Zero Trust Design.
- The Cloud Connectivity Design.
- The Cloud Accreditation Plan.
- The Requirements Backlog.
- The business case for the transformation.

**Experience**:

- 3+ Years' experience as an Enterprise Architect working in Industry on the supply side.
- Deep understanding of Hyperscale Cloud, and associated networking.
- Experience with Zero trust architectures.

**Activities**:

- Development of strategies for the organisation's Hyperscale Cloud Programme.

**Additional Requirements**:

- UK Single National.
- Active DV clearance.
