**Lighting Conductor Fitter**

**Location: South West UK**

**Salary: Competitive (DOE)**

**The Client**:
Our client are one of the leading Facilities Management (FM) companies in the UK. They have an exciting vacancy for an **experienced Engineer **to work alongside their **existing Lightning Protection Installations **team in the South/South West UK region. They are also a UK market leader, a highly successful business who have won many awards over years.

**The Role**:
You will be assisting in the installation of lightning protection and earthing on a variety of structures across all forms of private, public, industrial and commercial sectors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the installation of lightning protection and earthing systems on a variety of tall structures such as high-rise offices and flats.
- You will work on pre-designed schemes including drawings, a risk assessment and method statement.
- Support upgrades to existing lightning protection systems to specified instructions provided.
- In order to work safely, scaffolding and work platforms, as well as other safety devices.
- Assist in accurately completing Company paperwork including point of work risk assessment, job sheets, material schedules and timesheets.
- Support in providing on-site communications and advice

**Requirements**:

- Strong and proven experience in lightning protection (either testing, repair or installation background)
- NVQ 2 or NVQ3 as a Lightning Conductor Engineer
- Customer facing experience in a field service environment
- Good planning and organisation skills
- CSCS Card Holder
- IPAF, SSSTS and PASMA qualifications desirable
- Full UK driving license
