**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The Finished Vehicle Distribution (FVD) is responsible for the movement of new Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles to dealers and customers in over 100 Markets worldwide. We organise, manage and monitor the movement of every vehicle produced. This helps to ensure that delivery takes place in a timely and efficient manner, whilst maintaining the highest build quality levels possible.

This role is responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of future strategic/digital initiatives to support FVD activities and supporting solutions for current operational isues. You will be working with multiple stakeholders e.g Purchasing, Suppliers, Port Authorities, Manufacturig Plants, Vehicle Scheduling as well as other FVD Teams. Your contribution will help develop our existing operations, whilst transforming and developing solutions for the future.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Management & Development of Supplier Relationships including contract management
- Development of flows in support of FVD activities for ROW Markets from UK & EU manufacturing plants analysing existing and new opportunities to market.
- Control and ownership of key strategic projects and work streams from scoping to delivery and including cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management. eg global tenders, continuous improvement projects
- Development of Global tenders working closely with purchasing and circa 70 markets: Support tender strategy development, manage tender process from quotation through to implementation
- Represent FVD at external events and with external bodies ensuring that JLR’s best interests are represented and maintained
- Support and drive digitalisation

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

- Relationship management. Ability to continue to develop relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Ability to work under own initiative and be a self-starter Strong team player
- Project management & ability to lead cross functional teams
- Ability to present and communicate effectively at all levels both internally and to external parties
- Strong data analytics capability. Experience working with data visualisation tools like Tableau & PowerBI are advantageous.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
- Ability to communicate and influence others.

Desirable:

- Understanding of purchasing/contract negotiation processes
- Understand supply chain concepts
- Any previous experience developing strategy
- Good problem solving techniques
