Hgv Driver

Econ Group are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our team. As a HGV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization as you will be ensuring timely and safe deliveries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a flatbed truck, to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a HGV Driver
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with flatbed trucks is a plus
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects and spending long hours on the road
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills

**Salary**: £13.28-£19.99 per hour
