- Why this job matters
- This is a key role within the Business Partnering function within EE Marketing Finance. You will be expected to take the lead from a finance perspective on driving New Markets/ New Verticals P&L performance, articulating drivers in an insight-driven manner to guide decision-making. You will be influencing and shaping commercial outcomes to ensure the business hits its financial performance targets.
What you’ll be doing - your accountabilities
- Finance interface into the EE Marketing team, new partnerships and value driving initiatives.
- Articulating P&L performance through drivers
- Provide robust decision-support, ensuring in year volume driving proposals deliver value objectives.
- Ensuring end-to-end finance engagement on propositions pre-launch in order that the budget / mid-term-plan (MTP) reflects the relevant costs and benefits.
- Identification, quantification and mitigation of risks that may arise as a result of both internal and external factors e.g. regulatory, base / churn, ARPU etc..
- Ad hoc commercial analysis / impact assessment of new portfolios, new deals & new partners.
- Ownership for commercial evaluations of key strategic projects, providing insight and challenge, as well as presenting key outcomes to senior stakeholders.

- Exceptional business partnering skills, ability to quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships, with a proven ability to influence and coach and be prepared to challenge.
- Advanced financial modelling (excel) skills - ability to build/manipulate detailed models to arrive at appropriate outputs/metrics to support decision making.
- Communication skills - translating complex financial outcomes to senior financial and nonfinancial stakeholders
