The PR Executive will play a key role within the Corporate Affairs team. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our growing team to help us tell compelling stories to media about our journey to becoming a Better BA for our people and our customers.

The individual needs to have their finger on the pulse to help the team source and identify opportunities to showcase our unique British service and create positive conversations, putting British Airways front of mind. Experience within a comms discipline (PR, marketing, social media or internal communications), and experience in the planning and implementation of communication initiatives are essential for this role.

Key accountabilities
- Supporting the delivery of positive PR coverage in the news and features section of print, broadcast and digital media
- Supporting the implementation of social engagement activities in collaboration with the airline's social media team
- Relationship building activities with key media across the global markets to keep British Airways 'top of mind' with journalists
- Working closely with the Media Relations team to ensure consistent approach to crisis communications
