**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Welcoming Patients to the Practice
- Appointment Booking
- Call Handling
- Responding to patient enquiries
- Scanning & Photocopying
- Typing
- Administering Patient Registrations
- Processing Prescriptions
- Sorting Post

**Essential Criteria**
- 1 years' administrative experience within a GP practice or other clinical setting
- 4 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent, including English Language or NVQ/GNVQ Level II in Business Administration

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience working with IT systems used in GP Practices eg VISION, EMIS, etc
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well within multi-disciplinary team to provide quality patient care
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond appropriately to an emergency situation
