Senior Document Controller

**Document Controller Duties**:

- Manage and maintain all documents, both physical and electronic, in a systematic and organized manner
- Numbering, registration, distribution and tracking of change control documentation such as Technical Query, Change Request etc.
- Manage Inductions alongside management team.
- Update and log drawing changes and submitting of month end reports.
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards
- Distribute documents to appropriate personnel and ensure timely delivery
- Submitting Quality Assurance (QA) Records
- Monitoring weekly site reports (assisting in their production as required) and arranging for their distribution.
- Monitoring and managing Environmental compliance documents.
- Manage and maintain the Document and Certification process within the department, ensuring data packs for customer contracts are accurate and completed within the timeframe specified.
- Develop and maintain an effective document management system that is embedded within company procedures and understood by all users.
- Agree Document & Certification pack contents in direct consultation with customers or with the contracts, engineering and sales teams to ensure the correct level of certification content, timeframe and resources are planned.
- Generate Document & Certification packs in line with the agreed specification and timeframe.
- Ensure that all generated ITPs, Quality Plans, MITPs contain the correct Quality Assurance document references, reflect the correct customer inspection witness/reference/consult/hold points and that they are signed off by the customer before specified operations start.
- Ensure that all Document & Certification packs are correctly archived and can be readily accessed.
- Ensure certification for bought-in products and services conforms with contract specification requirements.
- Liaise with Third Party Inspectors and Customers Representatives on site with regard to documentation acceptance and sign off.
- Ensure Document & Certification packs are made available to customers utilizing web based portals and electronic document sharing software where applicable.
- Record and track customer concessions within the document management system.
- Provide regular KPI data to demonstrate departmental performance (completions, overdues, held etc.).

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 year's experience in Document Control will be ideal
- Able to work with little supervision, and use initiative, and knowing when to seek advice as appropriate, demonstrating professional behavior with strong interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
