**Introduction**:
**This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days per week required on site, the rest of the work can be done from home.**

**My client is a large defence, engineering and manufacturing consultancy who work closely with clients such as the Royal Navy.**

**They are looking for an Authorisation Consultant to generate documents that describe safe working procedures and processes for the operation, maintenance, repair and installation of plant equipment in a high-hazard environment.**

**Key responsibilities**:

- Gather information and define authorisation requirements for safe operation.
- Define which authorised procedures and people are required.
- Assess and recommend authorised persons.
- Review process documentation and amend if needed.
- Undertake reviews of existing authorisation and update.

**Skills & experience**:

- Experience creating authorisation documents for a high hazard environment.
- Experience reviewing and amending authorisation documents.
- Awareness of legislation within the nuclear industry.
