Construction Qs - Birmingham/Scotland/Manchester -£50,000-£60,000 per annum

We are in search for a experienced Qs circa 2 years plus experience to work mainly in the Midlands area also Scotland,Manchester etc, for an award winning Logistics company to how busy the client is getting.

Due to the continued and organic growth of the Company they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work from there office in Stratford on multiple commercial, industrial and domestic related projects for T1 contractor customers with values ranging from £50k up to £2million.

Daily Tasks Include:

- Prepare project specific tender and contract documents.
- Monitor and control costs across several projects.
- Identify commercial risk and the likeliness of cost variation.
- Track any changes to the design or actual work and adjust budget projections.
- Value completed works and invoice to contractors, including extras and day works.
- Attending site to ensure monthly measures and valuations are correct.
- Liaise with and maintain excellent relationships with our customers and workforce.

Essential Requirements:

- Experience in commercial projects (i.e. education, leisure, MOD, office, etc.)
- Minimum two years experience in a quantity surveyor role.
- Must be thorough and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Ability to use your initiative.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS card.

Advantageous Requirements:

- Previous experience working for a leading main contractor.
- Degree level qualification
- Experience in arbitration

The role would suit someone who has previously worked for a leading main contractor overseeing several packages and someone who has held a similar role for a minimum of two years.
