**Department overview**:
The primary function of the Business Development Team is to identify potential new opportunities for Sequani in the marketplace, price and prepare quotations for these and work with customers to place the work with us.

Programme Management are an integral part of the Business Development team and a Project Manager is typically assigned to a customer with a package of work ora First in Human enabling project which has numerous studies covering different parts of the business(i.e. genetic toxicology, general toxicology, formulation and bioanalysis and if required, any subcontracted elements of a programme). The Project Manager provides scientific input as well as logístical guidance. This not only ensures the project runs as smoothlyas possible but is highly influential in delivering repeat business.

**Role overview**:
You will be responsible for managing programmes of work placed with Sequani which will be assigned by the Head of Business Development and providing an interface for the client.

You must have clear understanding of the drug development process and the ability to guide our clients in the successful completion of their programmes. It is essential you have excellent knowledge of pre-clinical toxicology services and awareness of currentregulatory requirements to ensure that key deliverables are met both contractually as well as scientifically. You must be able to liaise with both internal personnel and the client’s scientific personnel in this role, and we will look to you to manage thecustomer interface astutely.

**Skills and experience**:
**Essential**:

- Experience within a scientific organisation, with experience delivering programmes or projects
- Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills with attention to detail

**Desirable**:

- In-depth knowledge of the Chemical, Agrochemical and Pharmaceutical business sectors
- Experience working with external partners/clients in delivering complex projects
- Excellent communication skills to influence, negotiate and deal effectively with all levels of the business and our clients
