Here at Davenports we are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver/Drayman. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent driving skills.

**Duties**:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods and products to customers
- Load and unload items from the vehicle
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - you will be driving sprinter sized vehicles.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus

**Salary**: From £26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
