We are now looking for an experienced **HR Advisor **to join our wonderful HR team on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is a part time role based on a contracted 24 hours per week. The role is anticipated to start in May 2024 and to finish in June 2025 (linked with the period of maternity leave that it is covering).
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **HR Advisor **to continue their personal development within a high paced, demanding environment, which centres around excellence and developing / rewarding our fantastic team. This role will be pivotal to supporting the Group HR Manager in the day to day running of the HR function and in supporting hotel operations. All duties are to be carried out within the parameters of the UK employment legal system and you are expected to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all key employment legislation relevant to the role of **HR Advisor**.
**Summary of main responsibilities include but aren't limited to**:
- Acting as a first point of contact for employees and managers with generalist HR queries
- Supporting the hotel HR team with any queries or challenges in them being able to carry out their respective roles.
- Ensure fair and consistent case management by guiding and directing managers through discipline, grievance and absence procedures.
- Demonstrate a fair and consistent approach to tasks by following company policies and processes, therefore reducing the risk of tribunal claims.
- Act as the first HR point of contact for managers and investigatory managers for discipline; grievance and absence issues, escalating any high risk cases to the HR management team at appropriate trigger points.
- Attend formal meetings and ensure these are conducted in line with company policy as well as to minute take on these.
- Have an up to date knowledge of HR metrics and monthly statistics and assist in preparation of relevant reports where necessary/ requested.
- Prepare documents for packs relevant to any formal meeting that is to be conducted and to assist in gathering relevant data for any ongoing formal employee relations process;
- Conducting Exit Interviews and provide monthly reporting / analysis of the results.
- Support in the organisation and running of employee events, such as the monthly employee voice meetings and monthly team celebrations.
- Support in the onboarding if new employees in order to become fully integrated to the team
- The role is based on site with some limited ability for remote working.
