We are looking to appoint the Associate Provost (Global Engagement), who will be part of the strategic academic leadership group with responsibility for coordinating the ongoing development and implementation of the University’s Global strategic agenda, covering all aspects of international and UK academic partnerships, mobility and student recruitment, and working in close liaison with senior academic colleagues to embed internationalisation into the curriculum and broader student experience.

Reporting to the Provost (Teaching and Learning), Professor Keith McLay, the Associate Provost (Global Engagement) sits in the senior management of this remit alongside the University Librarian, Associate Provost (Teaching and Learning), Head of Academic Online Learning, Head of Student Engagement and the Principal of Buxton and Leek College.

It is essential that the new Associate Provost (Global Engagement) has a substantial and successful track record of leading and delivering strategic academic partnerships and possesses a very good understanding of learning and teaching and student mobility.
