Finance and Performance are seeking a motivated, proactive individual to join the Financial Accountants team.

They will advise University staff and students on all relevant insurance matters, process all actual potential claims upon the University’s insurance policies and review the University’s procedures in order to reduce risk exposure.

The position holder will be responsible for supporting the accountants, and providing expert financial advice, guidance and support to relevant staff in Faculties and Professional Services.

They will assist in the preparation of the financial accounts, and integration of cash forecasting with the financial model and business requirements. They will assist in the accurate preparation of external financial returns and the accurate production of tax returns for the University.

They will prepare reconciliations of all significant balance sheet accounts, ensuring deadlines are met and high standards of accuracy.
