**The Role**

Williamson Park attracts over 500,000 visitors a year and is one of the North West’s premier tourist attractions as recognised by Visit England. Within the 54 acres of listed park and gardens are iconic buildings such as The Ashton Memorial, attractions and breath-taking views that attract visitors from across the UK.

The City Council wishes to recruit a qualified and experienced Gardener / Arborist to join the Grounds Maintenance team at Williamson Park in Lancaster.

The main duties for this post are all aspects of gardening and arboriculture work within Williamson Park with a focus on a full trees maintenance programme, other duties expected to be carried out are grass cutting, litter management, graffiti removal, leaf clearance and hard landscaping.

You will join a friendly, dynamic and multi-functional team which is focusses on delivery and problem solving to ensure we offer the best visitor experience.

This post is permanent. The hours of work for this post are 37 hours per week working on a shift rota basis including weekends, evenings and bank holidays. You will be expected to undertake Standby duties to cover out of hours work.
