Accounts Supervisor

We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to supervise a small team in a manufacturing company based in Kidderminster.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
The main duties will be
Carry out VAT reconciliations and VAT returns
On line banking
Assist with bank reconciliations on a daily and weekly basis
Intercompany reconciliations
Oversee and monitor the running of the Accounts department, oversee and support Accounts team staff and assist where necessary
Use of financial IT systems - in house systems and Sage Line 50
Reconcile all foreign invoices and assist the Accounts team with processing more complex transactions and invoices
Reconcile petty cash on a monthly basis
Complete monthly Intrastat and reconcile
Company expenses and credit cards - paying, posting and reconciling company expenses and credit cards
Oversee and monitor all credit control, and be responsible for credit control for some of the accounts in the business
Sales and purchase ledgers - oversee and ensure month end deadlines are adhered to, and assist the Accounts team where required
Other - support the other members of the accounts team as required. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, answering telephone and other ad hoc duties
Minimum AAT level 3 qualified or similar would be advantageous
2-3 years' experience in a similar role with supervisory experience is ideal
Full experienced in all aspects of accounts
Be able to demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to communicate effectively to both internal and external customers
