**About us**

YayLo are artisanal, independent speciality gluten free bakers and coffee crafters in the heart of Reading. We have great ratings on TripAdvisor and Google business and we are looking a new member to join our awesome team. You should be a highly skilled Barista, have great customer service skills, know how to prepare and serve food and operate a Point of Sale system. An added skill will be someone who is familiar with Gluten-Free baking but this is not essential and is secondary to barista skills.

**What are the main duties of a YayLo Baker/barista?**

Our Baristas take on a range of roles including:

- A love for coffee (iced/hot/creamy/rich/colourful/smooth/sweet) and a thirst to make absolutely delicious coffee and to be creative with flavours, mixers, colours, glasses, styles...
- Desire to be a great team member and to belong to a great team
- Keeping everything sparkling clean and hygienic at all times, including personal appearance and hygiene
- Constantly looking for what needs to be done
- Notifying the team so we can restock in good time
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and help out as, where and when required to assist team YayLo with other duties as and when required
- A love of learning and enthusiasm for self-development
- A natural curiosity that drives innovation and creativity and has a knack for doing something better
- Excellent attention-to-detail
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Knowledge of Allergens
- Agile
- Days are flexible but likely to be Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

Good to have:

- Experience of gluten free baking
- A qualification in food hygiene

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 30 per week
