We are currently seeking a skilled Lithographic Printer for our client based in Birkenhead. Our client is a respected wet glue and reel-fed label manufacturer known for their commitment to quality and innovation in the printing industry.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate lithographic printing presses to print labels according to job specifications and customer requirements.
- Adjust press settings such as ink levels, water balance, and registration to achieve optimal print quality.
- Monitor print runs closely, making adjustments as necessary to maintain color accuracy and registration.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Conduct regular inspections of printed labels to detect defects or inconsistencies and take corrective action as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts including days, afternoons, and nights, with different pay rates applicable.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience operating lithographic printing presses is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of lithographic printing processes and equipment.
- Ability to interpret job specifications and adjust press settings accordingly.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot printing issues.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including days, afternoons, and nights.

**Salary, shifts and Benefits**:

- Day Shift: £15.36 per hour
- Working Hours: 06.00-13.30 13.30-21.00 rotating shifts
