We are recruiting for a full-time, permanent role as a Masonry Operative to join Business Leader Lee Gibbons, and his team of dedicated professionals at Dewi Reynolds & Sons Funeral Directors, serving the local community of Cynon Taff. The role will take on grounds/masonry duties and the opportunity to become a fully-qualified Stone Mason.

Our Masonry Operatives, prepare, install and remove memorials from Churchyards and cemeteries, delivering the highest levels of client service to our clients every step of the way. They also drive our company vehicles to local sites to assist in the installation of headstones as well as producing the foundations for these memorial plots.

Further duties will include:

- Ensuring consistent delivery of the highest level of client service and workmanship when working on client memorials.
- Be aware of and sensitive to the needs of bereaved people.
- Ensuring creativity but sensitivity with the design, construction of memorial plots and where appropriate, utilisation of space.
- Carrying out inspections of all new memorials and graves to ensure correct location, orientation and quality standards.
- Assisting with on-call in bringing the deceased into our care as and when needed.
- Ensuring work practices, facilities and equipment is maintained in guidelines with health & safety.

**What Do I Need?**
- Full UK Driving License (manual) - Driving is essential to this role.
- Grounds/labouring/building works experience is preferable.
- Experience in operating mechanical equipment is advantageous, although training can be provided for this.
- Is comfortable with manual handling tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail is (**Essential).**:

- Good communication skills.
