**About the role**

You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all our Port Equipment to a safe, reliable and cost effective standard in accordance with company policy.
- Working hours will be Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
- Week 1 hours: 0600 - 1400, Week 2: 1400 - 2200
- Carryout breakdown repairs on third party customer equipment.
- Carry out repairs and inspections to industry standards.
- Working within Budgetary requirements
- Comply with all aspects of ISPS security controls according to Department for Transport (Maritime Security Compliance) legislation
- Ensuring that Legal and Manufacturers maintenance guidance is adhered to whilst working safely and contributing to a safe working environment for all.

**About you**

You will need to have completed a recognized apprenticeship qualification in Mechanical Engineering and be a good communicator using shift reports and maintaining good communications with both internal customers and within the Engineering department.

Ideally you will have experience using the following equipment: Terminal tractors, Forklifts, HGV tractor units & trailers and Cranes.
