SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join a family run SME based in Ashbourne. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting a varied generalist role with exposure to all aspects of HR.
As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for supporting Managers and the Team on generalist HR and employee relations issues. Accountabilities will include employment law, contracts, disciplinaries, grievances, recruitment support, sickness, absence and performancemanagement.
- Manage Employee Relation issues
- Support with the recruitment and onboarding process.
- In depth knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Advise management and staff on all Company HR related policies/procedures.
- Continuous improvement of our HR systems and practices, reviewing and updating company policies when necessary.
- Coordinate staff appraisals, reviews, and probation meetings.
- Supervise Absence Management cases
- Oversee the performance management process.
- Support as required with the disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Involvement with Learning and Development, booking training courses and logging training that has been undertaken
- Maintaining and updating the HR Information Systems, inputting and updating information on starters and leavers
- Influence positive employee relations across the business to maintain and improve business output requirements and ensure increased employee engagement
- Member of the Operations Board, updating the team on strategic HR initiatives and projects across the business
This is a full-time office-based role with some flexibility on start and finish times available.
