Sessional Lecturers

In response to an increase in student demand for our global programmes, we urgently require experienced Dissertation Supervisors for our MBA and MSc programmes, to start in September 2023.

Delivery of dissertation supervision for MSc and MBA students will be a mix of online and on-campus face-to-face at the University’s main campus at Plas Coch, Wrexham, LL11 2AW. As such you will be prepared to travel to Wrexham University’s campus to meet with students as required.

Dissertation Supervisors for Online MBA, on-campus MBA and on-campus MSc programmes.

In addition, Mandarin speakers in any of the above disciplines are also welcome to apply.
- A relevant degree, Master’s degree (MA, MSc or MBA), PhD or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Teaching experience and qualification/recognition (or be willing to work towards).
- Prior experience of online delivery in higher education.
- Ability to identify, develop and share innovative teaching resources.
- The ability to teach flexibly, adapting to the needs of a variety of learners.
- Accuracy and precision in written presentation.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post. Sessional lecturers are required for on-campus and online teaching of lectures, tutorials and workshops.
