Travel Consultant

Due to continued expansion our client, a well-established and reputable travel company is actively seeking an experienced, self-driven and dedicated Travel Consultant to complement their friendly team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Sales & Operations Manager, key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for the day-to-day planning of all elements of a tour including itinerary planning, customer invoicing, ticketing, and final documentation
- Use effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and exceed their expectations
- Ensure accurate, customer friendly documentation is sent to clients and suppliers in a timely manner
- Actively seek out customer feedback and make use of this to constantly improve our services and our customers’ ever-changing needs
- Understand the needs of customers and work to simplify the tour booking process wherever possible
- Maintain a good, up to date knowledge of key visits and optional extras for each destination to add value and margin wherever possible
- Build long term relationships and maximise the retention of clients through excellent customer service and product delivery
- Minimise the impact of issues and implement improvements to ensure they are avoided wherever possible
- Work closely with the Product & Marketing Team to research, identify/add new visits and/or products to our portfolio and generate ideas for marketing and promotional activity
- Ensure the timely collection of due payments to maximise cash flow

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
