**Health and Safety Consultant**

**Salary**: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate/Construction Certificate as a minimum.
- GRAD IOSH or working towards.
- Experience with CDM Regulations.
- Construction experience in Health and Safety.
- Ability to write RAMS.
- CDM/Principal designer experience desirable.
- H&S training experience and accreditations desirable.
- Level 3 trainer desirable.
- Experience in H&S consultancy in different industries.
- Ability to work in a small team.
- Ambitious and looking to progress with the company.
- Willingness to travel for clients as required.
- Ability to prioritize workload and clients' needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting health and safety assessments and audits at various client sites.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Delivering training sessions to clients and their employees.
- Writing risk assessments and method statements.
- Building strong relationships with new and existing clients and identifying opportunities for additional revenue.
- Working collaboratively with the team to achieve company objectives.
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety legislation and guidelines.

Our client is a small yet growing consultancy with a good pipeline of works and plans to grow over the next few years. This role is key to the success and the plans of the business, and the successful person will be able to grow and head up eventually one part of the consultancy. They are actively setting up a new H&S training side of the business, growing the H&S consultancy and plans to roll out a cloud-based H&S software facility for existing and new clients.

They are a small team and whilst work is done, and they strive for a high standard, it is done with a smile on their face. Client happiness along with employee happiness is key to the business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
