An opportunity has arisen for a motivated **Storeman** to join our team at **Hillhouse Group Ltd t/a MacAsphalt**.

Key responsibilities:

- Receiving tools & materials from customers and suppliers.
- Issuing PPE forms to staff, ensuring Procurement Officer is given completed requests for ordering.
- Issue PPE to relevant staff as per order request.
- Issuing tools & materials to staff as specified by each job in a timely manner.
- Complete a daily stock sheet for items/tools “signed out” for the Procurement Officer.
- Ensure a monthly stock take is carried out and report details to the Procurement Officer.
- Ensure the Procurement Officer is informed of low stock and other items that may require re-ordering.
- Goods Checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock.
- Ensure all received stock is undamaged and everything is present and accounted for.
- Ensure all tools are returned, recorded, and placed in the tools store when jobs are complete.
- Maintain a safe working environment within the stores area and all current Health & Safety legislation is observed. Including basic house-keeping.
- Arrange collection of tools and material as required.
- Perform any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and company.

The working week will consist of daily shifts, Monday to Friday with the occasional overtime available, depending on the company workload. Some weekend work may be required, again depending on the company workload.

HG MacAsphalt are the contracting arm of Hillhouse Quarry Group Ltd, operating a large fleet to support the Quarries, Surfacing and Civils departments.

- Previous experience (Essential)
- Valid CSCS (Essential)
- Valid Driver's License (Preferable)
- Valid Forklift License (Preferable)
