**Cardrona Hotel Golf & Spa is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an event specialist.**
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning and/or management.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to organize, manage and execute events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Must be able to work in the Peebles office location (in-person or remotely).

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and organize events for the company, including weddings, conferences, parties, etc.
- Work with our Event Management team to ensure that all events are planned and executed properly to ensure a positive experience for all guests.
- Manage the overall success of all events by ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner and that the event runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Provide support to our vendors during events by monitoring attendance and providing assistance as needed.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events as needed by assisting with equipment set up or removing trash from event spaces after each function is completed.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £11.00 per hour
