**Job Title**: Senior HR Assistant

**Salary**: £27,500 + 10% discretionary bonus paid quarterly

**Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexitime available core hours between 10am-4pm)

**Location**: Manchester (Middleton) - 2 days working from home

**About my client**: My client is a rapidly expanding car-buying service with a strong presence across the UK, boasting over 500 branches and continuous expansion plans. They are looking for a Senior HR Assistant to join their shared services HR team and work closely with the operational team to assist in recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, employee relations and HR project work.

**Responsibilities**: As a Senior HR Assistant within their organisation, your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Recruitment Team in filling national roles.
- Responsible for the line management of two HR Assistants
- Assisting on HR projects
- Setting up formal meetings and providing updates on outcomes
- Giving advice on basic HR queries
- Drafting employment contracts.
- Coordinating new employee onboarding across different departments.
- Collaborating closely with the HR Department to handle various HR tasks.
- Managing Right to Work, Background, and DVLA Checks.
- Handling weekly payroll tasks.
- Addressing general HR inquiries.

**Requirements**: To excel as a Senior HR Assistant, you should possess the following qualities and qualifications:

- A minimum of **2 years HR Admin/Assistant experience is essential**:

- Line management experience is desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility in adapting to evolving job responsibilities.
- Effective prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Capacity to manage high transaction volumes in a high-pressure setting.
- Demonstrated efficiency and a strong work ethic.
