**Principle Applied Psychologist, 0.5 WTE Band 8a, permanent**
**Lothian Substance Misuse Service**

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent, 0.5 WTE band 8a Principle Applied Psychologist to work within the Lothian Substance Misuse Psychology Team. The post holder will become part of a well-established and very welcoming substance misuse psychology team and will work as an integral part of the local multi-agency substance misuse recovery hubs in East & Midlothian. The post holder will work with people of all ages experiencing problems with substance misuse and mental health. The role will involve a mix of direct clinical work, staff training and supervision, and consultancy/MDT working. There will also be significant scope for role/service development as well as service evaluation and research. There will also be opportunities for supervising trainees.

The post could be offered as a job share/or on a reduced hours basis
