A busy and established medical practice, our client is situated in the town of Yeovil on the Somerset/Dorset border. They are now seeking a Prescribing Team Member to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis, working Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays andFridays.

**The Role**
As a Prescribing Team Member, you will provide an efficient prescribing and administrative support service to our client’s practice, ensuring prescriptions are processed in a safe, timely and accurate manner.
Acting as a focal point between all members of staff, patients, pharmacies and hospitals, you will ensure patients’ repeat medication is produced when they request it. You will also manage general prescription queries over the telephone.
You will maintain accurate records of all patient transactions, as well as dealing with AskMyGp queries and hospital discharges.
Please note, this part-time role involves working Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
**About You**
To be considered as a Prescribing Team Member, you will need:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A good telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills
- A good level of secondary education
