Salary/Hourly rate: £24,000-£26,000

Working hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm (Mon-Fri)

Job Summary: The Payroll Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. They play a crucial role in maintaining payroll records, calculating wages, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a payroll clerk or in a similar role.

Familiarity with payroll software and systems; experience with popular payroll platforms is an advantage.

Strong numerical and data entry skills with good attention to detail.

Understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations and labour laws.

Excellent communication and people skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines.
