An opportunity has arisen for an outstanding, self-motivated class based SEN Teacher to work in an exceptional ASD/SLD School, delivering learning for pupils with Autism in their 16+ provision.

**The School**:
The school, is a big and successful SEN School and training centre in Upmister that has excellent staff retention and received an "Outstanding" grade from Ofsted earlier this year. The much celebrated result has come from the passion and hard work of thestaff team who continuously strive for best practice The superb working environment is one of collaboration and where all staff members are supported and encouraged to progress in their careers. Recently one of their teachers established a specialism in Speechand Language and supported by the School, completed a Master's Degree in this area. All teaching staff have the support of highly skilled and trained Teaching Assistants in their class.

Lastly, the extensive resources on offer at this School must be mentioned; this stimulating and colourful environment gives the greatest of sensory opportunities to pupils Links have also been made with the community and local work places where studentstake part in vocational courses and activities. The Head Teacher would welcome a visit from perspective Teachers.

**The School are looking for**:
The successful SEN Teacher will be experienced and energetic practitioners with the knowledge, skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning, assessment and behaviour management strategies to make a positive impact on the progress of pupils withAutism who have learning difficulties.

QTS/QTLS is preferable although overseas trained teachers with UK experience who are awaiting their QTS are encouraged to apply
