**About the role and our team**

Join our team within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist

We are a busy and motivated team who are enthusiastic about ongoing developments to benefit the children and young people who use our service. Under the direct supervision of the team’s Clinical Psychologist, you will work as part of CAMHS multi-disciplinary team, undertaking protocol-based psychological assessments of children and young people referred to CAMHS.

You’ll also assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving psychological treatment and/or management of the client’s problems, as well as assisting with the creation and delivery of group-based psycho-education interventions. Your innovative and creative ideas will ensure the people who use our service can receive the support they need.

**What can this role offer me**

The Integrated Mental Health Service has developed a range of Assistant Clinical Psychologist roles and there is the opportunity for you to work in other clinical teams/areas on a rotational basis.

This will be the first permanent Assistant Clinical Psychologist post in CAMHS, so you will be actively involved in the development of the role.
