We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer-focused individual, who can fulfil this challenging but rewarding role within the Council’s Housing Repairs team. This large, dedicated team delivers a wide range of building repairs and compliance requirements to our housing stock. The Council have a social housing stock of approximately 4300 homes and the focus of this role is to oversee the delivery of disrepair cases for this housing stock

You will independently manage a caseload of disrepair cases and will need to liaise with a variety of in house and external parties including our legal team and external subcontractors. You will be supported by the wider Housing Repairs team to deliver the service and have a dedicated Disrepair Administrator to assist you in the role

Customer service and communication is a key part of the role. You will be the primary contact for all internal and external stakeholders for the disrepair cases. You will need to be able to communicate effectively and adapt communication methods to provide an accessible service to all parties

**We’re looking for an individual who has experience/knowledge in**:

- Working in a housing related field with repairs and maintenance experience
- Housing Disrepair
- Surveying properties for building defects/repairs
- Housing and Housing repairs related legislation
- Someone with excellent customer service and communication skills
- Enthusiastic and well-motivated
- Organised with the ability to deal with a number of active live cases
- Someone who represents our GREAT values and behaviours

**What you need to know**:
This role offers the flexibility of remote working however there will be requirements to attend the office for meetings, attend various sites to post inspect completed works and sign off the Disrepair Cases

**Salary**: £36,350.00-£38,261.00 per year
